Lucky Cat Express is a small rural transportation service operating in the eastern plains of Colorado. We try to keep things human and not collect more than we need.

What we collect

  • Booking information โ€” your name, phone number, pickup and destination addresses, and any notes you provide.
  • Payment information โ€” handled entirely by Stripe, our payment processor. We never see or store your card numbers.
  • Trip history โ€” we keep records of your past bookings to make repeat trips smoother.
  • Optional notes โ€” any preferences or accessibility needs you choose to share.

What we do with it

  • Show up at the right place at the right time.
  • Coordinate trips and confirm bookings via text or phone.
  • Send payment links for any post-trip charges.
  • Improve service over time (knowing you've ridden with us before, remembering preferences).

What we don't do

  • We don't sell your information to anyone.
  • We don't share your details with marketers, advertisers, or data brokers.
  • We don't track you across the internet.
  • We don't store your credit card numbers (Stripe handles that, securely).

Who we share with (only when needed)

  • Stripe โ€” for processing payments. Their privacy policy is at stripe.com/privacy.
  • Google โ€” Maps for address autocomplete; their data practices are at policies.google.com.
  • Law enforcement โ€” only if legally required.

Cookies & tracking

The booking site uses minimal cookies for the basics of how a website works. We don't use ad-tracking cookies or marketing pixels.

๐Ÿ“‹ Terms of Service

By booking with Lucky Cat Express, you're agreeing to these basic terms. We've kept them short and clear.

What we do

We provide rural transportation services in the eastern Colorado plains, including: rides to appointments and errands, package and grocery pickups, batched Denver trips for online pickup orders, and DIA airport shuttle service.

Bookings & confirmation

  • All bookings require manual confirmation by Lucky Cat. You'll receive a confirmation text once your trip is locked in.
  • If we can't accommodate a booking, you'll be notified and refunded automatically.
  • Standard bookings require at least 24 hours advance notice. DIA shuttles require 48 hours.
  • Same-day urgent bookings are best-effort only โ€” we'll do our best, but availability is not guaranteed.

Payment

  • Most services charge upfront at the time of booking via Stripe.
  • DIA shuttles charge a 50% deposit at booking; balance is charged the morning of pickup.
  • Denver Days don't charge until the day fills (3 orders) and we confirm with you by phone.
  • Post-trip fees (extra stops, wait time, White Glove service, etc.) are charged separately via a payment link sent to you after the trip.

Your responsibilities

  • Be ready at the agreed-upon time and location.
  • Provide accurate addresses, contact info, and any necessary trip details.
  • For Denver Day pickups: place orders directly with the stores yourself โ€” we just collect them.
  • Treat us with respect. We do the same.

Our responsibilities

  • Show up on time (or communicate if we can't).
  • Drive safely. We carry commercial insurance.
  • Handle your packages and personal items with care.
  • Be honest about pricing โ€” no hidden fees, all charges shown before you pay.

What we can't do

  • Guarantee timing in extreme weather, road closures, or vehicle issues. We'll always communicate.
  • Transport hazardous materials, illegal items, or anything that endangers the vehicle or other passengers/cargo.
  • Provide medical care or assistance beyond reasonable help (mobility, light luggage assistance).

Liability

Lucky Cat Express is not liable for delays caused by weather, traffic, mechanical issues, or circumstances outside our control. Our maximum liability for any single trip is limited to the amount paid for that trip. For higher-value items or special handling, please discuss before booking.

Service area

We operate primarily out of Akron, CO, serving the eastern plains and I-76 corridor. Our service area includes (but isn't limited to): Akron, Otis, Brush, Yuma, Sterling, Fort Morgan, Hillrose, Merino, Wray, Cope, Anton, Woodrow, and Last Chance. Trips outside this area are case-by-case โ€” call us to discuss.

Changes

We may update these terms occasionally. Significant changes will be communicated to active customers. Continued use of the service after updates means you accept the revised terms.

๐Ÿ’ณ Refund Policy

We try to be fair. Here's how refunds work in plain language.

If we can't accommodate your booking

Full automatic refund. We'd rather decline than disappoint, and you shouldn't pay for a service you didn't get.

If you cancel

  • Standard bookings: Cancel 24+ hours before pickup โ†’ full refund. Within 24 hours โ†’ call or text us, we'll work it out.
  • DIA shuttles: Cancel 48+ hours before pickup โ†’ full refund. Within 24-48 hours โ†’ we keep the 50% deposit. Within 24 hours โ†’ deposit forfeited.
  • Denver Days: Cancel anytime before payment is collected (which is when the day fills with 3 orders) โ†’ no charge.
  • Same-day urgent bookings: If you cancel, we may keep a portion to cover the urgent fee, depending on how far along we are.

If something goes wrong

If your trip didn't meet expectations โ€” we were late, something got damaged, the service wasn't what we promised โ€” please call or text us. We're a small business and we'd rather make it right than argue. Most issues get resolved with a partial or full refund, depending on what happened.

How refunds happen

Refunds are issued to the original payment method (your card via Stripe). They typically appear in 5-10 business days, sometimes faster.

The honest version: We'd rather over-refund than have an unhappy customer. If you have a genuine concern, please reach out before disputing with your card company โ€” we'll almost always make it right faster.
